§ 86-105. Employment classification

  • Each employee will be classified as a regular, full-time employee. If an applicant is hired for part-time, temporary, extra-help, or seasonal employment, the hiring department shall be responsible for providing the employee with the terms of their employment. (i.e., persons hired to fill temporary, seasonal, or extra-help positions are not entitled to regular, full-time employee benefits, such as the county's insurance program.)
