§ 82-1003. Employee committee

  • Each year, the commissioners court will select an employee committee of 11 members after receiving nominations from elected officials and department heads. The employee committee will be responsible for reviewing all proposals received from interested agencies once each year. The annual eligibility determination period will be specified by the commissioners court. Following the guidelines for eligible organizations, the employee committee will recommend a list of participating agencies to the commissioners court. The commissioners court will formally approve an annual list of eligible entities after receiving a recommendation from the employee committee.
