§ 82-684. Optional tax method; insurance benefits (cafeteria plan)

The county will deduct the cost of dependent medical/dental coverage and/or life insurance from employees' paychecks on an after tax basis unless they choose to have the same payroll deductions made before taxes are withheld. The result may be an increase in take home pay. Check with the benefits section of the human resources/civil service department for more details.
