(a) Dallas County provides sick leave for all regular, full-time employees as follows:
(1) Sick leave accrues at the rate of 3.692 hours per pay period or 96 hours per year and is calculated from the start of the
employee's first full pay period as a regular, full-time employee. Sick leave will accrue while the employee is on paid leave
for sick leave, vacation, compensatory time taken, or paid leave of absence. Sick leave does not accrue while the employee
is on workers compensation or leave of absence without pay.
(2) Sick leave may accrue to an employee without limitation.
