§ 4.57. Scheduling of grievance hearings

  • (1) Grievances are scheduled according to the date received, except grievances appealing terminations, which are given priority over all other types of pending grievances.

    (2) A grievance may be rejected by the secretary to the commission if determined not to be a grievable issue. The commission, the grievant and the sheriff's legal advisor will receive written notification of the determination. The commission may overturn the decision of the secretary.
